AMMUNITION:30-06 ammo will be available for for sale. The cost is $18.00 for 55 rounds. Please notify the match director 1 week in advance if you need to buy some.
Club Rifles: If a participant notifies the match director 1 week in advance, an M1 rifle will be made available for use during this match. Club ammo must be purchased and used.
ELIGIBILITY: A Signed and Notorized Waiver of Liability Affidavit MUST be on file. These can be printed from http://www.odcmp.com/Competitions/Affidavit.pdf Please email highpower @ centervillesmallarms.org to verify you have one on file, or bring one with you. With this Affidavit, the match is open to interested individuals legally residing in the U.S. and not prohibited from handling firearms. Juniors under 16 years of age will only be allowed to fire based on match directors discretion.

REGISTRATION: Registering indicates you have read this match program. Please email your intent to participate to highpower @ centervillesmallarms.org to facilitate advance squadding and to ensure a entry. Please let us know at least 1 week in advance if you plan on borrowing an M1 Garand, or if you are bringing your own M1 Garand, or 1903 Springfield, or Model 1917 Enfield and want to purchase 30-06 ammo. Payment can be made at the range until 30 minutes before match time. Late registration at the range will be handled in a case by case basis.
REGISTRATION LIMITED: Entries will be limited to the first 30 competitors to register.
EMPTY CHAMBER INDICATOR: The use of an Empty Chamber Indicator (ECI) is mandatory (Rule 3.21). They are available for $1.00. from the match director during registration
AWARDS: This match is a CMP sanctioned match and scores will be submitted to the CMP for calculations for national rankings.(see odcmp.com) CMP pins will be awarded to each shooter who shoots a qualifying score based on the rifle they have fired, and the cutoff scores as given by the CMP. see the current competition rules at http://www.odcmp.com/Competitions.htm

Springfield Gold: 466 and up
Springfield Silver: 455-465
Springfield Bronze: 438-454
M1 Gold: 465 and up
M1 Silver: 454-464
M1 Bronze: 435-453
Vintage Gold: 465 and up
Vintage Silver: 452-464
Vintage Bronze: 430-451
1903 Springfield RIFLES:: 1903 and 1903A3 Springfields with serial numbers above 800,000, in "as issued" condition. As issue means as a common soldier would recieve them. No Glass Bedding, No Shims, GI contour barrel, trigger pull weight of 3 1/2 lbs, and Standard Sights
OTHER (M1 Garands) Rifles:: in "as issued" condition. As issue means as a common soldier would recieve them. No Glass Bedding, No Shims, GI contour barrel, trigger pull weight of 4 1/2 lbs, and Standard Sights
OTHER (Vintage) RIFLES:: US Model 1917 Rilfe in "as issued" condition. As issue means as a common soldier would recieve them. No Glass Bedding, No Shims, GI contour barrel, trigger pull weight of 4 1/2 lbs, and Standard Sights
OTHER (As Issued Foreign Military Bolt Action) RIFLES: Any Safe Vintage Rifle, 33 cal or less, without a muzzle brake, manually operated, and capable of rapid reload via stripper clip, or magazine change, that was commonly issued to a Foriegn Military. The trigger pull must be 3.5 lbs or more. The rifle must be in "as issued" condition. See rule 6.3.6 from the CMP. These rifles should meet the spirit of WWII or older. Use of these rifles is at the Match Directors discretion )
TARGETS: 200 yards - SR target.
TARGET PULLERS: No target pullers will be provided. Each competitor will pull targets unless a suitable substitute is approved by the Match Director. Those competitors who fail to perform their pit duties will be disqualified.
SCORING: Competitors will score for each other. Those competitors who fail to perform their scoring duties may be disqualified.
SIGHTING SHOTS: 5 sighting shots will be allowed for each competitor prior to their 1st 20 shots for record.
COURSE OF FIRE; John C Garand Course B (50 shot)
Stage 1: Slow Fire Prone: 5 sighting shots and 20 shots for record in 25 Minutes single shot.
Stage 2: Rapid Fire Prone: 10 shots fired in 80 seconds including a reload.
Stage 3: Rapid Fire Sitting: 10 shots fired in 70 seconds including a reload.
Stage 3: Slow Fire Standing: 10 shots fired in 10 Minutes single shot.
* If bolt actions fire with M1s, the time will be the greater amount.ROTATIONS: The shooters will be divided into 3 relays. Relay 1 will fire the complete coures of fire while relay 2 scores and relay 3 pulls targets. Then relay 1 will go to the target pits, relay 2 will go to the firing line, and relay 3 will score. When relay 2 is complete, Relay 2 will go to the target pits, relay 3 will go to the firing line, and relay 1 will score.
FACILITIES: The range has no protection from the weather. Please be prepared. There is no water available at the range. Please bring plenty to drink. Please bring a lunch. While there is no break for eating, during your time in the pits, there is time to eat. There are porta potties at the range.
