This match is a test match and will be patterned after the CMP National Infantry Trophy Team Match.
Targets will be correct (For Distance, compared with Actual Army targets at 600 yards) sized army E and F silhouette targets. A different target will be used for each yardage.
Shooters will use 64 rounds of ammunition distributed as they see fit between the stages.
The 1st stage will be at 100 Yards. Shooters will have a 3 minute prep period. This stage is from the prone position firing on an E target. After the command "Load and be ready" There will be a whistle blown that will start the shooting. atfter 30 seconds, the whistle will again blow signifying cease fire. Any shots fired after the 2nd whistle will result in a 10 point penalty. Each hit at 100 yards is worth 4 points.
Shooters will then move to 75 yards, load their magazines, and stand waiting for the command "Load and be ready" at which time they may assume the prone position and wait for the whistle to repeat the 30 seconds of firing on an E target. Each hit is worth 3 points at 75 yards.
Shooters will then move to 50 yards, load their magazines, and stand waiting for the command "Load and be ready" at which time they may assume the sitting or kneeling position and wait for the whistle to repeat the 30 seconds of firing on the F target. Each hit is worth 2 points at 50 yards.
Shooters will then move to 25 yards, and remain standing and will repeat the 30 seconds of firing on the F target. Each hit is worth 1 points at 25 yards.

BONUS POINTS: A bonus for distribution is calculated at each range. The bonus is determined by counting the number of silhouette targets that contain six or more hits each. The number of targets with six or more hits is squared and that result is added to the total hit score for each shooter that had 6 or more hits at that range to produce the total score for that shooter at that range.

Malfunctions: There will be no alibis for any malfunctions during Match 3.

Match 3 notes: At camp perry, shooting mats are not used in this match, However, the grass on our range is harder than theirs, so a shooting mat may be taken between yardages, but you may not lay or sit on it until the command "Load and be Ready" is given.
