Before You Head Out

Three things to check every time. Tap any one for the detail.

No Sunday, Nothing Before 8:00 am Not accessible in the winter months either

The range is closed to general public and member shooting every Sunday (Rule 4), and no shooting is permitted before 8:00 am (Rule 5). Law-enforcement use and specifically scheduled or approved matches and events may still occur on a Sunday.

There is also no use after sunset (Rule 7), and the range is not accessible during the winter months.

Law Enforcement Signs Out? Turn Around Do not enter — call 801-292-8441

The range is shared with Centerville City law enforcement. Respect their scheduled use, and be courteous to their personnel.

If law enforcement signs are out, do not go through the gate or up the road. Call dispatch on 801-292-8441 and ask to speak with a Centerville officer about the range — they will call you back with an update.

Important Access Update

The Gate Now Uses an Electronic Lock

We have officially transitioned to a new electronic gate lock. It replaces the physical keys entirely — there is no longer a metal key to collect, carry or return. The gate is opened from your phone. The Master Lock Vault 6400 on the gate opens over Bluetooth from the free Master Lock Vault Enterprise app. One-time setup takes about ten minutes.

Volunteers Are Welcome

You do not need experience to help run a match or work on the range — we will train you. Members complete 5 hours at a service day each year, and new shooters are encouraged at every practice match.
